drivingDirection SPECIAL TIPS & INSTRUCTIONS 8644 Porter Central RD, Sunbury, OH 43074. Some systems take you “the long way” so check below for the best route NOTE - CHAMBERS RD. HAS A COVERED BRIDGE WITH AN 8’ X 10’ LIMIT. IF YOU ARE PULLING AN RV, PLEASE IGNORE YOUR GPS AND TAKE ANOTHER ROUTE. Options: Already turned on to Chambers? Before the bridge, turn right onto Lott Rd. then LEFT onto 656. Take 656 to 521 then left on 656. GPS DIRECTIONS FROM COLUMBUS - GPS will try to take you from exit 131 (36/37) through the town of Sunbury. Save time and take WILSON ROAD-a straight shot to our rd. (Porter Central). GPS “you’ve reached your desitination” - YOUR GPS IS GOING TO TELL YOU THAT YOU’VE REACHED YOUR DESTINATION WHEN IT HITS OUR EXIT. Just go 100 more feet up the slope to the entrance of the park. DRIVING DIRECTIONS Off Interstate 71, we are 8.5 miles from exit 131 and 6 miles off exit 140 FROM SUNBURY, OH: APPROX. 12 MINUTES Straight north on ST RT 61 for 3.5 miles Right onto ST RT 656, drive 3 miles Right onto Porter Central RD Left into Autumn Lakes FROM DOWNTOWN COLUMBUS AND POLARIS AREA: APPROX. 25-30 MINUTES North on 71 Take exit 131 (Sunbury/Delaware Exit) RIGHT ONTO SR 36/37 TOWARD SUNBURY. DRIVE ABOUT 1/8 MILE. Left at first light onto Wilson RD (look for huge silo across from Burger King), drive approx 8 miles. Continue across SR 61 onto SR 656 after stop sign, drive 3 miles Right onto Porter Central RD (you will see our sign on Porter Central & 656) Left into Autumn Lakes FROM CENTERBURG: APPROX 12-15 MINUTES Listed are two ways from Centerburg to Autumn Lakes. #1: Turn onto N Clayton ST (in town), drive about 5 miles (Clayton RD becomes Rich Hill RD then changes to Olive Green RD) Right onto Porter Central RD, drive about 2 miles Right into Autumn Lakes #2 Take SR 3 toward Sunbury, drive about 6 miles Right onto Condit RD, drive about 5 miles until road dead ends into Olive Green RD Left onto Olive Green RD, drive 1/8 of a mile Right onto Porter Central RD, drive about 2 miles Right into Autumn Lakes FROM JOHNSTOWN: APPROX. 20-25 MINUTES Take SR 37 toward Sunbury, about 7 miles Right onto SR 605, drive about 7 miles (605 will become Condit RD) until road dead ends into Olive Green RD) Left onto Olive Green RD, drive 1/8 of a mile Right onto Porter Central RD, drive about 2 miles Right into Autumn Lakes FROM NEW ALBANY: APPROX. 27-30 MINUTES Go north on Reynoldsburg/New Albany RD (aka High ST and SR605), drive 16 miles (road will become SR605 then Condit RD) dead ends into Olive Green RD Left onto Olive Green RD, drive 1/8 of a mile Right onto Porter Central RD, drive about 2 miles Right into Autumn Lakes FROM WESTERVILLE (UPTOWN): APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES Start on State ST (RT 3) toward Sunbury, drive about 10 miles. When you hit Sunbury, stay on RT3 until 2nd light. Left onto ST RT 61 (look for Devore/Snyder Funeral Home), drive about 3.5 miles Right onto ST RT 656, drive 3 miles Right onto Porter Central RD Left into Autumn Lakes FROM MARION APPROXIMATELY 25 MINUTES Take 23 South through Waldo Left onto 229, drive about 20 miles going all the way through Ashley Right onto ST RT 61, drive approximately 4 miles Left onto Chambers RD (NOTE: This road has a covered bridge that cannot hold RV’s. RV’s must drive up to 656 and turn left) Left onto 656 Right (quick) onto Porter Central Rd Left into Autumn Lakes
facilitiesDescription 2016 CAMPING SEASON – APRIL 15 TO OCTOBER 16 RV SITES All RV sites, back-in and pull thru, have water, electric, and sewer All RV sites have a crushed gravel pad, picnic table and fire ring w/ grilling grate Some back in sites and all pull through sites have a cement patio Back in sites that do not have a cement patio have a pea gravel patio lined with railroad ties No two sites are the same and are different by way of location, size of lot, shape of lot, or trees. WIFI is free around general store area. WIFI directly to your site is a nominal fee CABINS We have a limited number of cabins (4 total), so they tend to book up fast All cabins have a flush toilet, air conditioning, and shower Macy’s Manor (MM) and Haley’s Haven (HH) are side by side directly on the water Bambi’s Bungalow (BB) and Chip’s Chateau (CC) are about 100 feet apart back at the edge of the woods SHANTIES Each shanty is located directly on the water These are considered “bare bones” or “primitive” camping, as they have no indoor plumbing or the amenities found in our cabins has two sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4) with vinyl mattresses, 15 amp receptacle, box fan, and overhead light Sleeping area is 10 x 12 with a canvas front that opens up to a 10 x 6 porch Wood chest securely fastened for valuables Shanty photo coming soon TENT CAMPING Beginning in 2016 Autumn Lakes will only accept Rv’s or pop ups in our overnight camping area. No tents will be accepted on any overnight sites including tents for kids. We apologize to our past tent campers and hope you will consider reserving one of our camping cabins. GREAT DRINKING WATER Delco water is our water source. This is “city water” that goes throughout the park to every site as well as our laundry room and shower houses. You don’t have to worry about a well water smell or purchasing a large quantity of bottled water!
